About IIC Institute:

Tamralipta Institute of Management and Technology (TIMT) was established in 2007 for the noble cause of education and community development by the N.H.K. Welfare Foundation, under the leadership and guidance of Late Haji Sk. Kazem Ali. The institute is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB), and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). TIMT currently offers undergraduate programs such as BCA and BBA to prepare skilled professionals in technology and management, addressing the needs of industrial development and globalization. Apart from academic endeavors, our institute also encourages students to develop social, moral, and humanistic values, contribute to local communities, and prepare themselves as future leaders of the nation.

Tamralipta Institute of Management & Technology (TIMT) established the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC: IC202428525) on its campus in accordance with the guidelines of the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, during the academic year 2023–24.

During this period, TIMT actively engaged in a series of initiatives prescribed by the MoE’s Innovation Cell to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the campus ecosystem. In recognition of these efforts, TIMT earned a total score of 0.18 and received a Letter of Appreciation from the MoE’s Innovation Cell for its performance during the academic year 2023–24.
